It’s during times like this where you need someone to fall back on, someone to be there for you… But there’s not a single person you can reach out to. This is when you realise that those who ‘promise’ to be there, especially during your hardships, do not know the meaning behind keeping a promise nor the responsibilities that come along with it. Let alone the oath of a promise, they’re supposed to be there period, since you’ve always been there for them. I’m sick of putting effort into some of my friendships. I’m done.
